So Nealon passed his six month mark on January 30th. He is learning new things every day. His new favorites include trying to roll off the bed towards the nightlight, rolling around the room in his walker, dropping his sippy cup off from his high-chair, trying to roll over while having his diaper changed, and touching the exercise bike.
He is babbling more and more -- mostly B, D, and M sounds. And he is crawling a bit -- but can't really go far. He is not crawling across the room yet.
His hair is growing in more and more, mostly in a mo-hawk. And he is not 30 pounds yet, after all. I must have miscalculated the difference between my weight and my weight holding him at my Uncle Jimmy's. He weighed 20 lbs. 13 oz. at his six-month checkup, and is 27 in. long. We also went ahead and got a vaccination combo for tetanus, whooping cough, and one other thing I can't recall at this moment altogether in 2 shots. We also did another blood test for PKU and are awaiting the results.
Nealon loves balloons, blowing, smiling, and exploring...
